Project Description
National Teachers’ College, Kaliro is situated in an isolated and relatively deprived rural area in Eastern Uganda and is one of the secondary school teacher training colleges in Uganda. It offers courses leading to Award of Diploma in Education of Kyambogo University.
The proposed design intervention is aimed at providing a sustainable design solution that addresses space, function, energy needs of the college and above all ensuring comfort to the students so as to facilitate the learning process. It optimizes site constraints and opportunities. The school design is in line with the schools vision and responds positively to the requirements of the community.
